Wayne, PA – July 14, 2004 – DMW has completed direct response creative assignments for three clients: Citibank, AIG American General, and L.A. Weight Loss Centers. 

Citibank, for the first time, is testing an insurance cross-sell of an accidental death product through direct mail. Previous cross-sell efforts utilized telemarketing only. In response, DMW developed two direct mail packages to test among Citibank’s cardmember and other affiliate files. Follow-up packages were also developed and mailed. 

AIG American General charged DMW with a new assignment – to market disability insurance to members of the American Bars Association (ABA). DMW developed a direct mail package with multiple versions for the variety of disability products marketed by the American Bar Endowment (ABE). The agency also developed a complementary Website that contains a disability calculator and link for users to access the ABE homepage. The calculator enables prospects to calculate benefit needs based on current expenses and disability coverage. 

L.A. Weight Loss Centers challenged DMW with a first-time direct marketing assignment – to develop new creative ideas for television. As a result, the agency developed the “Carb Cravers” direct response television campaign, which combines humor with a strong drive-to-action and the use of testimonials to add credibility. The campaign consists of three creative executions.
