Health care marketing veteran is selected to lead agency's united account services teams.
WAYNE, Pa. - March 7, 2008 - Warren Hunter, Chairman and CEO of DMW Worldwide LLC, announced that Linda Armstrong has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Account Services. Previously Armstrong had been Senior Vice President, Health Insurance Account Group.
In her new role, Armstrong will manage the agency's entire Account Services department, which includes clients in the insurance and financial services sectors as well as business-to-business and technology. The teams are being united to bring greater flexibility and the ability to react more efficiently to clients' needs.
Armstrong started with the agency in 1993, and worked her way through the ranks in serving and managing a variety of insurance accounts.
"Linda has proven herself to be a tremendous asset to this agency and to our clients and we're thrilled to have her demonstrate her abilities even further in this new role," said Hunter. "Linda's secret to success is how she combines her deep experience in both account management and the direct marketing discipline to meet and exceed client expectations."
"Given Linda's expert command of the health insurance industry, her keen sense of client management, and her well-established leadership capacity with agency staff, she is the perfect professional to be directing DMW's Account Services division," added Mark Mandia, agency President and Chief Operating Officer.
Armstrong began her career in 1973 at National Liberty Marketing where she held positions in creative and marketing, using direct response techniques to sell life and health insurance to both prospects and existing customers.
Prior to joining DMW, Armstrong was Vice President of Marketing Services for Monumental General Insurance Group in Baltimore, Md. She was involved in all aspects of the direct marketing of Monumental's insurance products to the customers of financial institutions. She also headed up development of the company's first marketing database.
Armstrong is exceptionally proficient in the area of health insurance. She has led the planning and execution of managed care product launches for most of DMW's Blue Cross Blue Shield clients, including both Under 65 and Over 65 products, and has employed a variety of direct response media and product fulfillment strategies. Armstrong has also directed the expansion of successful Blue Cross Blue Shield agency programs such as Turning 65 birthday programs, seminar mailings, conversion/retention efforts, and non-converted lead projects.
"I am honored to work with such a talented group of direct marketing professionals," said Armstrong. "Our Account Services team is focused on surprising and delighting clients, and I am constantly impressed by the dedication, skill, knowledge, and creativity our people have in meeting business challenges."
Armstrong is a magna cum laude graduate of West Chester University.
